Tour of Milan and the Northern lakes

The Balbianello Circle Spring Tour will take place in Milan and the Northern Lakes from May 13th-19th, 2015.
Milan is perhaps best known for being the capital of industry in Italy, as well as the nation’s fashion capital, but few people have had the opportunity to visit the city’s lesser known artistic treasures, not to mention the private homes that belong to the venerable families who have made Milan what it is.
Highlights will include lunches and dinners at the homes of Marchesa Brivio Sforza, Fulvia Visconti Ferragamo, Alberto & Stefania Sabbadini, and FAI’s founder, Giulia Maria Crespi, just to name a few. Participants will enjoy visits to the magnificent lakes of Como and Maggiore, and will have the opportunity to visit three of FAI’s most iconic sites: Villa Necchi Campiglio, Villa Panza, and Villa del Balbianello. The trip will also include a day dedicated to Expo 2015, the Universal Exposition, which is taking place this year in Milan.
