Tour of Sicily

Friends of FAI is delighted to announce our 2013 Spring Tour of Sicily. Sicily is a land of mystery and captivating beauty, with a history as rich and varied as its remarkable landscape. Our journey will begin in Palermo and will include visits to the region’s most celebrated architectural sites and exquisite private homes.
Highlights will include: a reception at Palazzo Gangi, set of the iconic film Il Gattopardo, starring Burt Lancaster, dinner at Palazzo Mazzarino, hosted by Marchese e Marchesa Annibale Berlingieri, where we will admire their very important contemporary art collection, an inside look at Sicily’s exceptional food and wine tradition, a visit to the Greek temples, and a private viewing of Sicily’s renowned mosaics.
