Every year, Friends of FAI conducts, exclusively for the members of the Balbianello Circle, a journey of exploration through Italy-a week full of special and personalized tours, of luncheons, dinners, and intimate cocktail parties in the homes of major figures in Italian society, a journey through lovely places of great historical and artistic significance-purely Italian, completely exclusive. An extraordinary opportunity to know what we love best: Italy.

For example, in 2006, the destination of "The Balbianello Circle Spring Tour" fascinated Naples and its surrounding areas. Inspired by Norman Douglas's beloved novel, The South Wind Tour allowed us to discover the artistic treasures of Naples, the wonderful palazzi of the Old Italian aristocracy, great art collections and beautiful baroque churches. At the same time the blue sea of Capri and the natural beauty of the Amalfi Coast introduced us to the magnificence of one of the greatest jewels of the Mediterranean.
In 2004 the Tour took us through the most important cities and towns of Emilia, on a quest to explore the most charming places in this magnificent Italian region, famous as the birthplace of the great composer Giuseppe Verdi. The trip, which last one week, drove to the cities of Parma, Piacenza, Busseto, and surrounding areas.

Discover all Balbianello Circle Tours and enjoy us for the next ones.
